Leonardo De Luca
Mr. Leonardo De Luca, 38, is co-founder
and COO of 2thePoint
AG, in Zurich, a firm providing strategy, finance and M&A
services primarily to entrepreneurs and senior executives of privately-held,
mid-size European companies.
Since June 1, 2002, Mr. De Luca is responsible
for corporate finance and strategy mandates and advices demanding
entrepreneurs as well as senior executives in the fields of strategy,
finance and M&A.
Before joining 2thePoint,
Mr. De Luca was Executive Director and Head of Swiss Equity Research
at UBS Warburg. In this function, he was responsible for the asset
allocation strategy and stock selection of UBS Warburg Switzerland.
During his almost 5 years as a Senior Equity Research Analyst,
he was a member of the European sector teams for media, support
services, leisure and consumer goods. The Swiss team was voted
several times as the best research team in Switzerland. In 1999,
the work of Mr. De Luca was honored with the Reuters/Euromoney
“European Media Analyst for Small & Mid Caps” award. In 2000,
he was global lead analyst for the CHF 2.6 bio. IPO of Tamedia,
a leading Swiss media company. He is also officially recognized
as an expert and knowledgeable representative by the Admission
Board of the Swiss Stock Exchange to act on behalf of security
issuers. Furthermore Mr. De Luca is an acknowledged appraisal
expert for the district courts of Basel and Bülach.
Prior to joining Warburg, Mr. De Luca was a
Senior Manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Zurich and New York,
where he held audit and consulting functions for large international
and Swiss companies in various sectors – including consumer goods
(Kraft Jacobs Suchard Europe), media (Neue Zürcher Zeitung),
retail (Globus Group), transport/Logistics (Jacky Maeder), tourism
(Swisshôtel Group, Swiss Tourism), and insurance (Allianz
Mr. De Luca completed studies in auditing, controlling
and finance with honors and holds a degree as a Swiss Certified
Public Accountant (1992).
Mr. Leonardo De Luca is married and has two
children; is a dual Swiss and Italian citizen; and he is fluent
in German, English, and Italian, and has a good command of French.

Before joining 2thePoint,
he was a Junior Project Manager at the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison
Office for Economic Affairs in Riyadh, and also worked in warrants
sales and trading with Citibank in Zurich.
Mr. Rateitschak studies economics with a concentration in finance
and capital markets at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He
spent two semesters of his studies abroad at HSG partner universities
ESADE in Barcelona (CEMS program) and the University of Texas
at Austin (MBA program). As an undergraduate, he also studied
for a summer at Harvard University.
Mr. Rateitschak is a German citizen, lives in Zurich, is fluent
in English and German and has a working knowledge of French and

a Junior Auditor. He also supported the Institute of Media and
Communications Management at the University of St. Gallen in various

As a scholar of the Foundation of the German Economy, Mr. Kramer
studies management and business administration with a concentration
in finance, accounting and controlling at the University of St.
Gallen (HSG). His studies also reflect his interests in the theory
of financial markets.
Complementing his studies, Mr. Kramer
is Head of Marketing at the non-profit consulting firm ESPRIT,
a students initiative.
Mr. Kramer is a German citizen, lives in St. Gallen, and is fluent
in English and German.
23, is a Junior Analyst and has been with 2thePoint
since September 2003.
Before joining 2thePoint,
he worked in the Control Group at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets
and as an assistant to a Hedge Fund Manager – both in Zurich.
Mr. Schuler is also occasionally involved in the activities of
his family-owned auction house for arts and antiques. He is presently
completing his studies in Economics at the University of Zurich.
Mr. Schuler is a Swiss citizen, lives
in Zurich, is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge
of French. He has a passion for fly-fishing and has visited several
remote places in the search for the biggest catch.

His previous experience includes working in
the Law Department of Wrigley GmbH in Munich, and in the Law&Tax
department and later in the private banking's staff unit of the
Mr. Jeske holds a law degree from the University
of St. Gallen (HSG), with a specialization in corporate and financial
law. Presently he is completing a second degree in Business Administration,
with a focus in international finance, also at HSG. He is an enthusiastic
golfer and devotes part of his free time to be a golf instructor.
He is also a founder and board member of the golf club at HSG.
Mr. Jeske is Swiss citizen,
lives in Schaffhausen, is fluent in German and English and has
a working knowledge of French.
22, is an Associate, and has been with 2thePoint since August 2005.
Before joining our Firm, Mr. Lai has worked
for Jebsen & Co in Hong Kong and participated in organizing
events at the Asia Research Center of the University of St. Gallen
(HSG) and the student association AIESEC. Presently Mr. Lai is
about to complete his BA degree in Economics at HSG.
Mr. Lai is a Swiss citizen and lives in
St. Gallen. He was born in Xian, China and has been living in
Switzerland since 1992. He is fluent in Chinese, German and English,
and has a working knowledge of French. In his free time, Mr. Lai
enjoys playing the piano.
23, is a Junior Associate, and has been
with 2thePoint since April 2005.
Before joining our Firm, Mr. Senn worked for
a tax&consulting company in Aarau. Mr. Senn has recently received
a BA degree in Economics at the University of St. Gallen, and
is presently completing a Master degree at HSG.
Mr. Senn is a Swiss citizen, lives in
St. Gallen, is fluent in German and English and has a working
knowledge of French. In his free time, he enjoys riding mountain
bike and helping to organize the national downhill series.
43, is a Senior Advisor and has been with 2thePoint since February 2006. He advises clients in strategic partnering
like Joint Ventures, M&A or distribution agreements.
Mr. Isler is also CEO and founder of Fargate
AG in Zurich, operating the largest private network of Swiss export
promotion agents. With the help of its 150 Satellites in more
than 40 countries Fargate is able to identify and arrange strategic
partnerships in all continents on behalf of its mostly European
clients. As an example, Mr. Isler and his team were able to arrange
a distribution agreement between a Swiss exporter and a Japanese
retail chain with an export turnover of several millions Euros
p.a. as of year two. Fargate and 2thePoint have entered a strategic
partnership in February 2006.
Mr. Isler started his career in engineering
and implementing enterprise-wide software systems for mid-sized
industrial companies. As an Executive Manager of Profidata AG
and later of Miraculix AG he was responsible for the implementation
of an enterprise-wide IT solution with a Swiss manufacturer with
Mr. Isler is founder and Member of the Board
of «Pool of Experts - Find International Business Experts»
- a Joint Venture of Osec Business Network Switzerland, Swiss-American
Chamber of Commerce, Flare International and Fargate. He is also
a co-founder of the Chilean Chapter of the Swiss-Latinamerican
Chamber of Commerce and alumni member of Young Entrepreneurs'
Organization - a world-wide network of more than 6'000 successful
enterpreneurs. Furthermore Mr. Isler is a Member of the Board
of several Swiss companies.
Mr. Isler is a faculty member, in International
Marketing, at several academies such as the University of Zurich,
the University of Applied Sciences in Chur, the University of
Applied Sciences in Vaduz (Liechtenstein), the University of Applied
Sciences in Luzern and the University of Applied Sciences in Olten.
Mr. Isler has a degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Applied Sciences in Brugg-Windisch with
a postgraduate degree in economics from Swiss Engineering Association
STV in Zurich. He also completed the Young Enterpreneurs School
in Olten and studied Organizantional Psychology at IAP in Zurich.
Mr. Isler is married
and has two daughters. He is a Swiss citizien and grew up in Switzerland.
He speaks German and English fluently and has good knowledge of
French and Italian.

Before joining our firm, Mr. Pathan was Trade
Officer for 3 years at the Swiss Embassy in Santiago, Chile, where
he was in charge of business promotion of Swiss firms in all sectors
in the Chilean market: He is a co-author of “Free-trade
Agreement with Chile: Opportunities for Swiss Business”
published by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs
(SECO) in the Spring of 2005. Mr. Pathan also worked at Business
News Americas - a Latin American media company based in Santiago.
Mr. Pathan studied modern
languages at Cambridge University in the UK where he graduated
in 2001. He is a British citizen speaks English, German and Spanish
fluently. Mr. Pathan is married and has no children. In his spare
time he enjoys football, Latin American affairs and travel.
Mr. Sven Widdel,
1980, is an Associate, and has been with 2thePoint since May 2006.
Before joining our Firm, Mr. Widdel has worked for CEOP Consulting in Santiago de Chile as a Project Assistant to Senior Partner where he participated in operational projects for Chilean top-tier companies.
He helds a Professional Degree in Business & Administration of the Pontific Catholic University of Chile, where he was actively engaged as a Professor’s Assistant for several courses in Business and Economics, as well as in several community work.
As a German citizen, Mr. Widdel was born in Bolivia and raised in Chile. He is fluent in Spanish, English and German, with a working knowledge in French. In his free time, he enjoys trekking in the mountains, photography and travelling extensively.
Ms. Magrit Leemann,
1985, is an Associate, and has been with 2thePoint since August 2007.
Before joining our Firm, Ms. Leemann worked for several banks in Zurich including Merrill Lynch and UBS. Ms. Leemann has received a BA degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen, and is presently completing a Master degree with a concentration in Finance and Banking at HSG.
She spent one semester of her studies abroad at the University of North Carolina (MBA program).
Ms. Leemann is born in Korea and is a Swiss citizen. She lives in Zurich and is fluent in German, English and Korean. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
